A week with Jess

When I found out the Sam's EFY and Wyatt's scout camp would both be on the same week, I was trying to think of what I could sign Jess up for to keep her busy since she would be home with me all week.   I knew she would be bored out of her mind.   Jess however was not thinking the same thing.  She was so excited to spend the week with me and her mind was spinning with ideas of things we could do.   She just kept saying, "mom we are going to have so much fun just you and me".   I of course was happy to have someone to hang out with all week.   I say week but really it was only Monday night to Saturday morning. 

Wyatt and Sam both left Monday morning.   Thayne had a doctor appt so he stayed home Monday and we took him to the airport Monday night.   So, Jess had her dad and I to herself all Monday and she was thrilled.   What 16 year old girl wants to hang out with her parents?  She does and she loves it.  

To make this short and sweet here is a breakdown to our fun week together, with a few pictures.

There was a lot of eating, shopping and fun.

~ Jess had friends sleep over
~ I had 2 job interviews, so Jess spend the afternoon with her cousin.

~ went and saw Madagascar 3, good to see once don't know I can sit through it again.

~ breakfast at Joe's Farmgrill...yum
~ were headed to do pottery and found out the place closed....boooooo!
~ went to Hobby Lobby to find a craft to do instead.
~ Cupcake date at The Coffee House where Jessika says she found the best lemonade ever.

~ dinner at Yogurt Jungle

I am sure I forgot somethings.  It was a great bonding week with Miss Jessika.  I think it would be fun to do that with each of my kids.   Jessika even asked if we could have another week.
