Music
sets the mood
(When I just wrote that the Disney movie Little Mermaid popped into my head when they were going out on the canoe and the crab said "first you need to set the moooood". Love that movie and I think it funny how certain things make quotes from movies and lyrics from songs pop in your head. )

It is something I have always known. I grew up in a house with music being played, sung, danced to and blasted.
I now live in a house with all of the above.
I should clarify that being sung in our home is actually belting it out at the top of your lungs and making it your own.
What I have always known, is that certain kinds of music put us in certain moods. When I want to work out all I have to do is turn on Pink, she just makes me want to get up and move.
Anything 80's makes me want to dance. Scary thought I know but one should never shop dancing, even if your kids laugh.
Slow music makes me want to go lay on a blanket on the grass and watch clouds float through the sky.
Church music puts me in the mood to be a better person.
The music that makes my heart smile and brings peace to my mind is the music my kids bring into out home with their talents.
I so enjoy waking up to Sam playing a hymn on the piano. I love hearing my kids playing and singing with the guitar.

Those were the days. Hey, not fair I can only see part of her cute face. Attach some of her singing. Love to hear her.
