Remember this day?
That was the day I saw this....
and I thought
~CLEAVER~
A corsage made with material flowers, tulle, and black feathers. It was so stinkin cute and it was never gonna die.
They are everywhere these flowers. In girls hair, on jewelry, on clothes. All different kinds and all different sizes.
I think they are so fun, and I am so glad I have 2 girls who will wear them. So here is my thing about these, how hard can they really be to make. I wanna know because I want to make them and not buy them. It is just something that runs in my creative blood. So I went on a hunt and here are some tutorials that I found and liked and I am passing them on to you, because then you can make them yourself and I won't have to make them for you. Ü
Go ahead and Google away, there are many more sites that show you how to make them. These are just a few that I liked.
They look super easy. I think I am gonna make some and then make the super duper easy apron Cindy showed me how to make and add some flowers to it. I'll show you how to do the apron later, but let's just say EASY sewing.

My girls have made tons of flowers for their hair. Certainly didn't cost them the $5-$8 you pay in a store! You must posts pics though.
Super cute. I saw some cute hair flowers today at the salon I went to and a cheap $1.50-$3.00 to buy so I can only imagine how cheap they are the make. Got to see the aprons right away. I'm having one cheap Christmas this year
Thanks for the suggestions. Amelia found a blog and made some earlier in the summer. Today she made one of these before church. We have lots of fabric scraps.
