Sam Senior Prom 2012

Day date~
Original day date plan was to go to the Children's Hospital and take coloring books and read to kids there.   It ended up not being a good day to go for the hospital so they decided to go to Tempe Town Lake a ride paddle boats and go to lunch.

Sam came home and got ready.   Of course there is a story to go with getting ready.
~Sam story is she showered and got ready and I was going to do her hair (after she let me practice last Tuesday and she approved) so we started curling away.   After 45 minutes of curling I could tell an attitude was starting and something was wrong.   Apparently the curls were tighter than what she wanted.   Breathe, breathe, breathe.  Stay calm, don't let this go bad.   I calmly told her to go rewash her hair and we would redo it.   Not having a lot of time to spare but I knew we could do and we did and it turned out how she wanted it.  Phew!

~Zach's story was his mom accidentally threw away his tie for his tuxedo.   He ended up wearing a regular black tie, which I think looked better than a bow tie.

Picture time~

If you are wondering if Sam wore shoes to Prom, I would say yes she did.
See she is carrying them.   I guess that is the part she gets from the Poppleton side
of the family.  We  never wear shoes.

They left and headed to a eat at a restaurant and then off to prom.

She had a great time!
