First day in California we decided to go and visit my grandparents. We weren't going to be seeing them until early afternoon, so in the morning we drove to Thayne's office to see if he could do lunch. He was in a meeting so we wasted time by taking pictures at some fun places we found.
After waiting around and Thayne wasn't able to have lunch, we headed to see my grandparents.
It was fun visiting with my grandparent. I haven't seen them for a few years so it was nice to spend some time with just them. They make me laugh.
I took the kids to Disneyland on Thursday. Our friends "The Cuillards" met us there. Always a fun time hanging out with friends. My kids had a great time.
Spent the day at the cold beach. It actually warmed up after a few hours. Again the Cuillards met us and we got to hang out with them again.
It's all fun and games until someone (Wyatt) uses the boogy board as a bat and someone else (Sam) gets hit by the ball.
After a fun day at the beach. We cleaned up. Dropped our kids off at the Cuillards and the adults went out for massages and dinner.
Thayne wanted to take the kids to this fun Go Kart place. What a fun time. Jessika surprised us all and did great, beating everyone but Thayne.
Since the girls have been reading "The Hunger Games" and they wanted to see the movie, we decided to go as a family and see it. I have not read the books and thought the movie was ok. Thayne didn't like it at all, and the girls liked it.
It was a busy break but alot of fun. The only part that would have made it better is if TJ was able to go with us. I love having all my kids together and it's never quite the same when one is missing.
Now Spring break is over, it's prom and graduation to look forward to.
