I walked last night during football practice with my friend Cindy. She usually runs but she was nice enough to walk for me. I walked again this morning. Woke up with my shoulder hurting again, but I went walking anyways. Feels so good to get out and feels better to exercise. Exercise makes me want to eat better. I drink more water than coke when I exercise. It sounds like seeing the benefits would make it such an easy thing to do, but taking that first step to get out the door is totally dreadful. I want to get to where I am running and not walking. The thing is I really want to live where there is paved roads so I can rollerblade again. Maybe I will go to the park to do some rollerblading. All I know is after hurting my shoulder with the weight ball, I will be taking a break from that thing for awhile.
Tonight is the first dinner with the football moms for this season. I know it's the little things that make me happy. I'm easily entertained. I'm also looking for a job to keep myself busy while the kids are at school. Life is busy, crazy, sometimes interesting and sometimes blah, but it's life and everyday I try to learn something. Love my friends. You know who those friends are that you can count on. They are the ones who just call or text the "thinking about you" even tho you just talked to them the yesterday.
Family, friends and exercise are my smiles for this week.
Oh ya! I also went to the movies alone. All by my Lil ol self. A early morning movie and I actually enjoyed going alone. Definitely something I will do again.
