I am just going to pretend that everyone else had their kids tucked in bed and not only tucked in bed but put in bed at their exact bed time. That when you went to bed at a decent hour (9 or 10) you checked on your kids in their beds and saw them sleeping sweetly with smiles on their face.
If this is you, then congratulations you are ruining your kids summer of going to bed when they want and falling asleep where ever they fall in the house and falling asleep watching tv and leaving it on all night long.
Yep you guessed it, my kids are living the summer life and I hope they can switch back next week when school starts.
Last Night at midnight in my house.....
~Wyatt was out catching frogs in the irrigation.
~Jessika was up making cupcakes with Cassie
(because I was nice enough to go out at 9:30 to get her eggs)
~Sam had just gotten home from going to movies with friends, and is now playing with Wyatt.
~I was in bed trying to ignore the running and laughing in the house. Trying to pretend I could fall asleep and think my kids were old enough to not kill themselves.
~Success~
Woke up to Wyatt and Sam asleep on the couch. I didn't really feel like going for a walk around the house to see where Jess and Cassi ended up. I saw yummy cupcakes and decided to have one for breakfast and told myself you are doing a great job of not ruining your kids summer! My only regret is not taking pictures.

It drives Glade crazy that I let the kids sleep wherever they want during the summer and let them stay in their PJ's unless we are going somewhere. I DO, however, insist on a decent sleep time. A girl(me) needs her sleep ya know! Mine are all very ready for school to start.
We are totally out of whack here too. I on't know how we will adjust next in a few weeks.
