to busy to notice
Boy do I have fun kids. They may not always be the cleanest or the most obedient, but boy are they fun to be around. I just love when I am in a grumpy mood and they do something to make me smile. I just love when I am stressed (like yesterday) and TJ says "mom you need a hug". I just love when I walk out to take the kids to school and written in the dirt on the side of the car "my mom rocks". I just love when I had to go to Home Depot to get chlorine for the pool and Wyatts says "mom I'll go with you to help you carry it", and he didn't even complain when I ran his foot over twice with the cart. I love all of the stories they tell me when they get home from school. I think with life always being so busy and always rushing around. I am always telling my kids what they need to be doing and giving them deadlines for things to be done. I don't take the time to think about the great kids they are. So today I took a moment and appreciated my kids a little bit more today. And you know what, the stupid things I worry about everyday didn't seem so important.

That's in the book! There is a whole chapter about counting the good things that your kids do during the day and how surprsed you are when you notice them!
Your kids are so awesome! Must be their parents:)
They are the funnest kids. I love spending time with them. And I think they are obedient too although I can't vouch for clean.
