feel the need
I have just had the urge to go hiking. Not a hard or long hike, just a simple easy one to get started. I don't have the energy but I am going to go anyways. Thayne says I shouldn't go alone, so this morning I only had Jess home and asked her if she would like to go hiking with me. She instantly perked up and said "NO". So I asked her if she wanted to go to lunch and she said "of course". I should have known. I think I may have a hiking date soon. I may have talked my sister Rachel into going with our kids. Wooooohooooo. It is just so nice outside right now. The weather is perfect and yummy. I am hoping that half of the battle is mental because my brain is totally into this, I just hope my body is willing to follow. Ü

This is the deal, always go with a buddy. Always take you cellphone or walkie talkie. Take plenty of water and a snack and some first aid. If it's nice an warm so there are snakes and scorpions in them there hills.
Ya, a little emergency back pack would do.
