Have you ever been in a hurry and the person driving in front of you is just
driving like they have all the time in the world. When you get to an intersection
and you need to turn right and you are in your car shouting at them to please go
straight so you can finally get rid of them from being in front of you, but you can't
be that lucky because you are in a hurry and they turn right just because you know
they are trying to bug you and slow you down.
Now....
Have you ever been in your car driving and you just picked up a nice big cake for
a special party, or you have something in the trunk of your car that could break if
it got bumped? For some reason when you need to go slow and you slow down
for every pot hole and you have to take every turn so carefully there seems to be
a ton of cars behind you and you know you are bugging them because you are
slowing them down? All you want to do is yell out your window "sorry I have
a huge cake in the back so I have to be careful", hoping they would then understand.
Isn't it funny how we never seem to have patience for other people but always want others
to have it for us.
Or
How frustrating it is to want an answer to something, or just wanting
to know what's going to happen next and the only way to find
out is to wait patiently for the answer. I don't think it means
to sit and do nothing and wait, I think it means stay busy
and keep working and when the time is right you will
get what you need in the time it is meant to be.
I am learning Patience. We all are. Every day it is a work in progress.
Today it is going to be my main focus to have patience for others
(unless they are just down right stupid then they are exempt),
and to have patience with myself.

Good thought. thank you. When we are busy judging we seem to have little patience.
Something I will try to improve on.
Been there, done that! In an effort to control my road rage, I have made a conscious effort to give people the benefit of the doubt (they have a large cake in the back seat). I'm not great at it yet, but getting better! I want some cake.
