comfort zone

~You do it because of the excitement
~knowing it's a little bit risky
~it's fun and scary
~taking a step away from security for a taste of the unknown but you do it for the thrill
~laughing, screaming, hearing your kids scream louder than you
~even if you're scared, you know that it will be ok and you will survive
~in the end everyone is smiling and just happy having fun together

Why does it look like I am the only one holding on for dear life?

I love roller coasters!  I love that my kids love them too!
We have so much fun riding them.  The scarier the better.

What I don't like is the roller coaster of life.
Scarier is not better.  The unknown drives me crazy.
This moving back to California is making me a little nervous.
I feel like the kids are handling it really well and I am the one
feeling scared.
I know there will be scary parts, laughing parts, screaming parts and
I know in the end we will still be smiling because we are doing it together
as a family.

Right now I am at the "standing in line" part.  Feeling anxious about stepping
off the safety of the platform and into a seat and losing some control.

So, I am telling myself what I tell myself when I am in line for the
roller coaster feeling alittle nervous........

This is fun! This is FuN, This is FUN!

In the end I will survive, right?

Of course you will! I hate that you are leaving, but it will be so good for your family. At least you are moving right into the arms of family and friends, that should be a huge "safety net".
