"You can't run away from trouble, there ain't no place that far"

I've waited all year for this.

It's December!!!!!!!!!

For some reason I just don't think it is ok to make fudge until December.
Finally pumpkin season is over and fudge season has begun.
Christmas decorations are making their way out of the attic and
the smell of Christmas is in our home.

I didn't grow up with fudge at Christmas time.  When I married Thayne
I learned that is was a tradition for his grandma to make fudge and send
it to them every year.  When I first tasted it I was in ♥LOVE♥.
I never had to make it because we always got some from Grandma.

When moving to Arizona I decided I needed to start making my own.
Dianne gave me the recipe.

This is it!

It's not a bad picture, that is what the card really looks like.  I use it every
year.  I can't see half of what it says, but I see enough to help me remember
what the recipe is.

The first year I made it was a disaster.  I think I made like 6 batches and couldn't get them
to set.  MUSHY fudge is gross.  I was about to give up until I finally made a good batch.
I have never had a bad batch since.

I know everyone says their fudge is the best, but really this one is a keeper.
I have friends who ask when I am going to start making it so they can have some.

I am not sure if this is a secret recipe, so I am not going to write it out until I find out.
If you have really good eyes and can read the card then have fun making it I hope
you enjoy it as much as the Harris family does.

People say chocolate makes you feel better.
I should be feeling really good by the end of the month!  Ü

Oh yum, FUDGE! although I did make some a few times
at Christmas but usually I was to busy. And we knew Grandma would show up with some including her Divinty. Sorry, can't even begin to read the card.
