a weekend away~

It is so great knowing that every person is different and every person has
a dream all their own.  We would be boring people if we were all the same.

Thayne and I flew to California this last weekend.  A little bit of work for him
and a little get away for the two of us.  Thayne's little bit of work = a nice quiet
day by myself.  I get alot of quiet time to myself at home when the kids are at
school, but quiet time away from home and having breakfast with this view...

is Fantabulous!

As much as I love the view and as much as I love the beach,
I am not a dreamer to sail the ocean.  It looks like so much work
and it just doesn't seem fun.  There I was sitting and eating and looking
at what was probably a dream to someone else.  A dream to someone
probably living in Nebraska somewhere who has never seen the ocean.

It made me think about what were my dreams that I wanted in my life.  I think
alot of times we are so focused on our everyday that we don't take a few moment
to look ahead at the dream.  I wonder if it is because the dream may seem impossible.
It is probably all about priority and how much we really want it.

"Keep your dreams alive. Understand to achieve anything requires faith and belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination, and dedication. Remember all things are possible for those who believe."

My dreams seem easier to achieve than buying a sailboat.  I don't want to climb Mt. Everest, way, way, way to cold to even think about.  I really don't dream about winning the lottery (well not all the time).  I don't dream about material things,  maybe sometimes I do dream about a new car or new jeans or some kind of sparkly bling bling, what girl doesn't. Ü

It doesn't matter what your dream is, don't waste your time dreaming about it....

Make it happen!

So exactly what part of Ca. did you visit? Looks wonderful. So opposite of here, it's snowing already.
