A first for everything

There are some things I remember well about my youth.  One of them being my first job, but that may be because I have only had 2 jobs my whole life.  Other things I remember are my favorite places to eat.  I find something I like and I stick with it.

My first job was at Kmart.  I worked there with alot of friends from school.  It was alot of fun and I can still remember things I did, outfits I wore to work, how to stock, how to use a register (and they were not like they are now), people I hung out with.  It was just alot of fun.

It was hanging out with my friends that I found my favorite spots to eat and they remain my favorites. 
Tico's Taco's is the best!  We just went back to visit to Simi Valley and I was so thankful my kids agreed to do a Tico's stop.  Tommy's is the next got to have eatin spot, you can never go wrong with a greasy chili burger. We go every time we are in Ca and it has become a tradition that the kids look forward to.  The other must have food from my youth and something I can enjoy in AZ too is.....

I have eaten so much of this stuff that you would think I would weigh 300 lbs.   I ate so much crazy bread when I was pregnant with TJ that it has not surprised us one bit that he only eats bread.  Crazy Bread is a sure favorite of his, he eats it all the time.  I'm so proud. 

So it was a HAPPY day in our home when we found out that Miss Samantha got her first job at

Little Caesars!

She is doing a great job.  She is determined to save her first paychecks so she can take her and her DAD to get pedicures.  (Yes you read that right).  She now has enough money to go and is so excited to go with him.  I don't know many 16 year old girls who want to spend their first paychecks on a pedicure with their dad, but I think it is pretty stinkin funny.
