oh the pain

You know how people say you have to forget the pain of child birth or you would never have another baby?

That is kind of how I feel about Christmas decorations. If I remembered every year how much I hate packing all that stuff back up into boxes I would never decorate for Christmas again. I always remember dreading it, but never fully remember how much I hate it.

I think I have all of our holiday goodies packed away tightly in these boxes until next year.

One day I am going to invest in some nice red plastic Rubbermaid boxes, but for now these are cheap and convenient. I think some of them are ready to retire.

I am also not sure who actually thinks you can really restuff all of THIS...

into this....

I think I may have to save the tree stuffing until Thayne gets home. I am so glad it is finally done and am completely convinced I am not decorating for Christmas next year, and because I can remember how painful childbirth was I am not having any more babies. Ahhhh!

Great thought, but you know you will realize the bareness of your house without all those lovely decorations rather quickly!

I feel your pain. How many trees do you put up?

I say that every year but when I take them down I'm tired and just pack them up again but I have noticed I put less and less out every year and you know what it works just fine.

Holy cow you have a lot of decorations!! I need to step it up. I agree with you 100% about the baby thing. I see a pregnant lady and almost throw up everytime.
