Oh my! I did not get to bed until 2am last night. We had such a nice time with everyone at the Hixon New Years party. It is always a long night that goes by very fast. Every year Stephen and Rachel have a new years party and they even include all the kids.
Every hour on the hour they ring a bell so the kids know it is time to play a game. A different mom is in charge of each hour. The game usually consist of some kind of contest or something fun to keep the kids going another hour until midnight. I want to add that most hours include some kind of sugar. Lots and lots of sugar. I am not sure I have ever seen a child over the age of 1 fall asleep before midnight. This year some of the games were...
- one older child and one younger child teamed up and the older child unwrapped a roll of toilet paper around the younger child. The first one to unroll the whole role of tp won.

- ice cream eating contest. Each child received a ice cream bar, the first one to eat and swallow the whole thing won.
- Candy bar game. Each child receive a candy bar in a brown bag. Each child took turns rolling dice. When they rolled doubles they could switch candy bars with someone else. Each child walked away with a candy bar. I was incharge of this game so we did not get any pictures of the kids playing.
Adult games...
-Each adult wrote down a funny or embarrassing moment. Then we played pictionary with the moments. Very fun game. Remind me to post about my humongous shirt later.
- Some one everybody knows game. This game takes to long to describe but was very fun, so if you want to know email me.
We had alot of yummy food and a fun time for everyone. I am ready for a new year.
TJ and Jake went to the stake dance so we did not get alot of pictures of them. I got this one of them coming out of the dance, but because it was dark it is not the best quality.
