and he's off
Well, Thayne has begun his journey. This year he will be spending alot of his time working in ....
He left yesterday and is still driving today. He is supposed to be there for about 6-7 months. He should be home every 2-3 weeks. Can you hear me grumbling yet. I am. I might even make a trip out there to see him while he is there. I have never been to any eastern states so this might be a good opportunity. It is close to Nashville so that would be a fun trip I think. I will wait until it warms up for sure. I hope Thayne's speech doesn't slow down, I hear they talk slow there. This will be an interesting year but we are going to make the best of it and enjoy all the time we have together. I am not going to complain at all (well I'll try not to). I will just remind myself it is sooooo much better than having him in Mexico last year.

I nearly snorted when I read about your hopes for Thayne's speech to remain unaltered. You're such a trooper.
What kind of work does your husband do? My husband is from Southeastern Kentucky and I have only been there once and it was nice. I hope all is well with you and your family.
Wow, Kentucky! You have such a good attitude! Hopefully, the year will go real fast.
I hate it when he has to leave you and the kids but I have to remind myself that in todays situation you are blessed to have a good job. I think a long trip this summer would be terrific.
I've never been there myself, but I've heard it's absolutely beautiful in that area of the country. Very green as opposed to here, not green. You should take two trips this summer to see him. One with the kids and one without the kids. You could drive up to Nauvoo and do the whole church history thing too. Sounds fun to me. I feel for you missing your hubby!!
Oh Heather my heart goes out to you! I know all to well what you are going through. Keep your head high and make every moment with him count. You are an awesome wife and mother!
Stinky!!! But you might get a good vacation out of it.
