I am happy to say that we have been working on Jessika's YW project. They are having their Evening of Excellence next week so she was alittle pressured to get this one done. She decided to learn how to can meat. She asked her aunt Rachel to help her and we planned on last Monday to be our day.
She washed the chicken and cut it up.

It was very exciting to have learned how to can meat. Jessika was very excited to accomplish this goal. I think we may even try one jar of chicken for dinner very soon. I will let you know how it tastes. I am a little nervous about trying it but kinda excited too.

Good job Jess! I'm sure it will be fine people around my neighborhood can chicken all the time and I'm going to try it myself as soon as I see a good deal. Maybe I'll come have Jess teach me.
