Every party needs a pooper!
Only I don't think you are supposed to be the pooper and not want a party!
A 16th BIRTHDAY PARTY!
It is hard for me to even believe that we are counting down the days until he turns 16, but it is almost here. I have been hoping TJ wanted to have some friends over for a party, but he has told us that he does not want one. He also said he does not want us to surprise him with one either. GRRRRRR! Does this have to be all about him? What about me? I have always wanted my kids to have a fun 16th birthday party and now he says he doesn't want one. OK really I know this is not about me, but I wish it was. This is probably going to be one of those that I have to suck up and realize I am not going to get my way.
We (Thayne and I) have asked him what he wants to do and he keeps saying, "NOTHING". This is to easy. Can a 16th birthday really be this easy.
I have 11 days to talk him into something.
All ideas are welcome.

Maybe he just wants the $$$$! I can't believe he is just about the big 16! He is such a good kid.
I can't believe sweet little TJ is going to be 16!!! When did that happen! Good luck with the festivities.....let me know the trick once you figure it out!
TJ has his interest so maybe a night at a great basketball game or football game or taking him to see some skate boarding competitions where he gets to see some the greats.
No way is he going without a party. We'll come up with something!
how about an UN-party...invite over some friends to do a lot of sitting around and staring at eachother. maybe some chores.
It must be our children. Ashlee was the exact same way! Didn't want a party or a surprise party. You read on how her 16th b/day went. sorry i have no advise here.
maybe it was the lamaze teacher or class we attended??
Concert with a couple friends maybe? A party isn't for everyone!
