Flip my attitude

Ok I am going to post this in my most positive attitude.

My girls started a tumbling class. They just love it and they have already learned alot and they are excited about continuing in this class. I love that it is right by my house and they can walk if they have to. Saturday night was their recital. It was fun watching them perform what they have learned. I was very proud of them and I look forward to back flips very soon.

Ok I can't do it anymore, here is my poor attitude on the subject.

Do you see these costumes? Really do you see them. Take a closer look. My girls could have made them by themselves. They cost me (ok Thayne) $50 each!

Yes $50!!!!!

Now we have paid for costumes before so the cost was not a shock to me. But the costume was. These costumes were no where close to being worth $50, and they are not cute. Jessika's is already ripping at the seams.

Now this picture above is Jessika and Aly in their tumble costumes. How great are those. Love them. They look like gymnastic costumes. Cute, shiny (gotta love shiny) and easy to move around in. No complaints with those costumes.

There has got to be someway to get myself on the costume committee at the dance studio. I will figure a way to get myself involved with the picking of the next costumes.

Ok I think I feel better now that I put how I feel out there. My girls really did a great job and they looked great on stage. I just wish their costumes were better.

Back Flips here we come.

At last they still look cute. I want to see a picture of the front of them.

Well they are at least modest and those cute girls can wear anything you put on them and still look cute. But $50., I have to agree.

ha ha- just like gas prices, it sounds like things have gone up in price on clothing material as well... they still look super cute!

The girls look cute, but not your typical dance costume. Maybe they should have a parent vote before they ccome out with the costumes:) I want to put Saydie in tumbling next year. Back flips..can't wait to hear!!

I have seen a lot of costumes and never ones quite like these. They are cute, but not at all suitable for tumbling. I wouldn't have been happy either.

i am glad they are costumes! When I saw the picture without first reading the post, I was a bit surprised at their choice in clothes!
