Ok I have a cold. I am not enjoying it at all. I haven't slept good in 2 nights. I think the cold medicine is keeping my mind racing and I can't sleep. I think tonight I will treat myself to NyQuil. I sure hope we still have some.
Samantha is also sick but with a bug and she is miserable. She hasn't eaten anything since Sunday breakfast and she really can't afford to lose any weight. She turns 14 next month and weighs only 64 pounds. Her cute, funny and very strong willed personality fits her perfectly.
Jessika started with a headache a sniffles but she is ignoring the fact she might be getting sick and went swimming. I hope she doesn't regret it later.
TJ not sick but cut the the bottom of his big toe really bad. He is toughing it out by still going to basketball camp. Plus the fact that he was hit on his bike from behind by his friend on a motorcycle. TJ went flying and got scraped up really bad but no major injuries. His friend on the motorcycle spent a good part of the night in emergency and has messed his knee up really bad, possibly needing surgery. TJ always lucks out. With all the crazy things he does he never gets hurt.
Wyatt is skating by without any illness or injury. He is being such a great helper. He has been taking care of all the animals and helping with keeping the house picked up. He has not complained at all today about not being able to invite a friend over. He is such a great helper when he wants to be.
It's June 2nd and this is not how I wanted summer to begin. I just want to get this all behind us and move forward with the fun part of summer.
My family is crazy, we know it and we really don't care because we have fun. I enjoy life and I love to laugh. I also cry, kick and scream when I have to but it's not pretty.

Awww, I wish I would have read this earlier, I would have brought you dinner. If you are still feeling yucky tomorrow, totally let us, it would be fun, K?
Laurie I don't think I will ever move knowing I have a friend like you right around the corner. You are so nice. I think we will be good tomorrow. I am lucky to have kids that can fend for themselves. But I am really hoping to back to my old self.
Bummer, what is it with this early summer illness, it's going around here also. I hope you're on the mend soon so you can get back to enjoying the kids being home.

Sam, is 64 pounds?? She is a mini- love that girl.
Jessika seems like she lives her life that way- I feel good now, why not enjoy it?
(I'm almost done) TJ has a little bit of crazy in him. Thayne's genes I am sure.
Wyatt. All that hair was filtering the air from him getting sick... now what is going to do???
My kids always get sick the week after school is out. The first week of summer. I think that their defenses go down and they finally allow themselves to get sick. It is always a bummer way to start summer! Hope you all feel better soon!
Is Julia trying to be the #1 commentator or what? :) Trenton weighs more than 64#s Sorry about the sniffles. We have them around here too.
