What was I thinking?
You know how you have the after thought of why did I do that. You don't think about what you are doing at the time because it seems fine. This is one of those time.
Again like always, since I am not a grocery shopper. I usually just go to the store when we are really low on food or we run out of something. Last night it was milk, again. Thayne volunteered to go with me which I like when he does especially when it is dark outside. (Do you ever notice that I don't ever punctuate correctly. I only do it right when I correct homework. But really I am not writing a book to be published so who cares. So just incase you think I didn't know I punctuate incorrectly, I do know it's I just don't care).
1st stop
blood pressure machine in the back by the pharmacy. Thayne seems to think it is funny that his blood pressure is always low and mine is sky high. I like to blame him for this. Last night mine actually dropped since our last visit. It was 142/86. Still not good but hey all doctors say I am healthy and there is nothing wrong with me (and I have paid them plenty just to tell me that too) so I just say whatever. Thayne started talking on the phone while taking his blood pressure so I just took off to get my goodies.
2nd stop
Milk, this is the real purpose for going to the store so I would get it first. Then I thought I would get Thayne some chocolate ice cream since her really likes it. But, what if I decided to have some too I would need caramel because you have to have caramel. Right? Now they always say never go to the grocery store hungry because you buy everything. I am sure it is the same for thirsty because I had to have juice. I was so thirsty and OJ sounded so good. So I picked up some OJ and some grape juice just incase I changed my mind on OJ before I got home.
Ride home
Chocolate ice cream is sounding really good to me and I really think I am going to break my rule of not eating after 7pm and have some with alittle caramel. Just once won't hurt. We live close to the store so really this is all I had time to think about.
Finally home
Got out my frozen OJ. Oh I forgot to mention I bought frozen because all the NO PULP refrigerated kind was gone. And really NO PULP is the best I hate the hairs in my OJ. So I made my OJ and Thayne was scooping ice cream and asked if I wanted some. Yep just a little though. So two very small scoops later and alot of caramel I was set for my late night snack.
Regrets
Never, I mean never eat ice cream and drink OJ at the same time. That was the worst combination I have ever had. The taste was not bad, it was that I was awake all night with a burning feeling in my stomach. Not to mention I kept hearing scratching on my window. So maybe it makes you hear things too, because I didn't see anything outside. I just laid there in bed and pictured my ice cream curdling in my stomach, which sounds gross but that is what it was doing I am sure of it.
I guess I will stick to my late night snack rule for now on, because just like I tell my kids. If you are doing something you are not supposed to, you will get hurt. I have learned my lesson.

Been there, done that. If only our lives had DVR. Rewind please!
So gross. I love both though. I would never think of mixing them.
