little reminders
I have to say that there are times when I wonder why they have baptisms right in the middle of a Saturday. It is usually right in the middle of something I am doing. I have to change into church clothes out of my comfy old Saturday clothes. Luckily I don't have to find a babysitter. Then I get to the baptism and sit there and listen to the music and then look at the child being baptized all dressed in white with the hugest grin on their face and I am reminded why I go to baptisms in the middle of a Saturday. It is the best part of my calling, and always the best part of my Saturday. I love seeing the grandpa's cry when they speak, and the grandma's cry when they pray (I actually don't see the grandma's cry, because I am closing my eyes). Not exactly fond of the kids running around crazy but if you ignore it you can feel the spirit. I love seeing the little girls after they have just been baptized. They are usually wearing the prettiest white dress and you can just see in their eyes that they feel like an angel. It is fun to see every time. Anyways, I just got back from Lindsey Nichols baptism and her smile melts my heart all the time anyways, but I loved being at her baptism today and love the spirit that warmed the middle of my Saturday.

Hey, thanks for writing that...I just wanted to let you know I will be sharing it during my relief society lesson....you have exactly 1 hour and 40 minutes to tell me not to, but what you wrote is perfect! Thanks
You are one GREAT primary president. The kids will always remember you.
It is funny because I had just gotten home from a baptism yesterday when I read your blog. You are so right and thanks for the reminder of how great it is. Also, it was nice to hear Kaye quote it in her RS lesson...she got all teared up. Thanks!
