ahhh it taste so good

After 1 week with no coke, I broke down and had one with lunch. Eating out with Thayne at El Rico's would not be the same without it. Now this is not saying that I have given up on not drinking coke, I just am going to treat myself once in awhile. Just like I did today. It was delicious and I loved every minute of it. I have also enjoyed my stomach getting flatter from not drinking it, so now I am back on my water with lemon. I really think water with lemon is something that has to grow on you. I am slowly starting to like it, and I mean slowly. I love water and I love lemon, I mean I really love lemon. Water and lemon, not so much! I heard it is good for you. By who? I don't know and I have not even researched it. I am just taking a piece of advice I have vaguely remembered from an unknown source and I am trying it. It has to be better than drinking coke, right? Oh the sweet taste of coke. Oh how I will enjoy us meeting every so often. Happy hour at Sonic is just not the same without you. Sniff Sniff!

Good for you. I learned to drink water with lemon almost every time I go out. Now I love it. It is supposed to be like a diuretic or something. I still drink my Pepsi, I also LEARNED to like diet. Never thought I could, but...

Way to go! Trevor did the same thing with Dr. Pepper. He has been off for more than a month now. He switched to gatorade or lemonade when we go out. They still have sugar, but not the carbonation. Keep it up, you can do it!

I agree with the treat yourself theory. If you go cold turkey you will always have the urge. I have a cola beverage every once in a blue moon. Some people are addicts, I am not. If you are, the treat yourself method will not work.

Hi Heather, I like your blog. You are so cute and funny! I like your coke theory also. I am a Dr. Pepper person. Don't get one everyday, but too often!

Has Thayne traveled like this your entire married life? I know he did when you were newlyweds and you were my wonderful young women's leader.

This can be a hard one I know from experience. The Coke thing is nasty though have to go with the Dr.Pepper. I enjoy the water and lemonade as long as i'm the once slicing and handling the lemon.
