singing time 101

Note to self. Be prepared, you may have to do a last minute singing time at any moment. I always try to keep most of the cute things I make for sharing time. I always figure I can use them for FHE or in another calling someday. Today being one of those days. I recieved a call from our primary chorister at 10:30 saying she had a migraine and that she was not going to be able to make it to primary. I love doing singing time even though I am not very good, I have so much fun with the kids. So not having alot of choices I told her I would take care of it. Knowing I had to leave for church in a half hour I had to find something fast. I grabbed my CTR grab bag and headed out the door and planned the rest in sacrament meeting. I am not sure what everyone else thought but I can definately say that I had alot of fun. I also realized that when I am sitting with the kids and singing it doesn't matter that I mix up the words and forget some of them, but when I am up trying to teach the kids the songs forgetting the words and mixing them up doesn't fly. Maybe one day I will get to have my library, ward photographer (I made that one up), primary chorister calling that I dream about.

It was a really well "planned" singing time. The kids had a grand time listening to just the teachers sing when that was picked. I LOVE LOVE LOVE your CTR shields. Great idea.
