Gypped
Is it bad that I still haven't unpacked from science camp yet? I am determined to do it tonight before I go to bed. I tivo'd a few shows that I haven't watched yet so I will unpack tonight while I watch them. I don't know why but unpacking anything just is not my cup of tea. I don't mind folding laundry but hate putting it away. I absolutely hate unloading the dishwasher. Bringing the groceries in from the car is right up there with the laundry, and unpacking from a trip is dreadful. It has to be done and I am going to do it tonight. I know one day one of my great grand kids will read this and say "so that is where I get this disorder from, great grandma Harris. I hate unloading my hovercraft of groceries." Actually they will probably just push a button in the kitchen and the food will just appear. Which makes me think that I remember back in the 1980's, I always thought that by the year 2000 we would be living the Jetson lifestyle. I don't know if I actually thought it would be that way or more that I hoped and dreamed it. Ok I am going to be honest here, I still feel gypped that we are not at that point yet. I am stewing right now that Rosie is not in my room unpacking my bags from science camp, and where is the cool machine that does my hair in the same hairstyle everyday in 2 seconds flat. Oh to be sucked into a glass tube to get around the house, just like those money tubes at the drive-thru at the bank. Yep, I feel gypped.

You are funny! I feel the same way. One thing that helps me is ordering my groceries online. The delivery guy actually carries them into my kitchen. It is not quite "Jetson" style, but it is a step closer.
Unpacking should have been on my 'loathing' list. Definitely a gene!
ha ha! Jason and I were just talking about living the Jetson life. I often thought when I was a kid that we would be there by the year 2000 as well, something about 2000 sounds futuristic in comparison to the 1900's.
I here ya loud and clear! Claudia needs to come visit you so you can at least feel relieved of a few duties:)
