Today was not a day I sat and looked at the little things. My kids were quite chatty during sacrament meeting and I couldn't convince TJ that his whisper voice was louder than he thought it was. Jess and Sam doodling with snickers and giggles every so often. Wyatt trying to secretly make a paper airplane out of the program. I know they were doing there best to be reverent but not quite cutting it from a mom's point of view. I knew primary was going to be easy because I work with the most amazing people. Teachers that always show up and love the kids they teach and counselors who pull most of the weight. I sat in primary today and thought this calling is so great. I get to work with happy, funny, smart, and unpredictable kids. Today was a special day that just touched my heart and made me realize why I love primary. A few years ago a family moved into our ward. One of their kids and I got of to a rocky start and I just knew he was going to be a challenge for me. I made it my goal to make him like me. Things started looking up and I knew I had broken through and we have started being pals. Well my tender moment today was when we did a birthday spotlight on him. We told all the fun things he liked such as his favorite food, favorite things to do. Well, we got to what his favorite thing in primary was and he had written "my favorite thing in primary is Sister Harris and Sister Stolworthy". How great is that.
So yes, Primary makes me Happy!

Ok that is a pretty darn sweet story. BTW I think we need to send Stephen, Maureen, and TJ to Loud Whisperers Anonymous!
