Here we GROW again.

When moving to QC five and ahalf years ago, they had just made the very first QC stake. 10 years ago in QC there was only 2 wards. As of yesterday QC had grown to 3 stakes. Today I sat in a special QC stake conference where they split our 3 stakes into 5. I sat next to Julia Stolworthy and watched her write all the stakes and all the wards under each stake. We counted 34 wards in QC. In ten years QC has grown 32 wards. I live here and know of the growth but was amazed as I looked at it on paper. I decided to start this blog because I am not very good at journaling and thought since I like playing on the computer this would be a great way to journal. What a great day to start. This being such a monumental day in the church where I live. Since my family is now in a new stake I believe we are now in a stake without a stake center again, and I believe just one building. It is just something we have gotten used to living here in QC.
What I am most excited about today is that Thayne is on his way home from Mexico. He is trying to get home before Jessika's 12 birthday party tomorrow. It always seems he has to jump through hurdles to get home, but he always makes it and always makes birthdays special for our kids. So I am off to make my birthday party to-do list. Tomorrow should be a great day!
