and then there was one

Can you believe it, there is only one Harris child at home with me on Tuesday nights. Jessika officially turned 12 today and wore makeup to school for the first time. She is going to YW tonight with Samantha. So all my kids are in mutual exept Wyatt, who has my full attention one night a week. Tonight we had a blast doing his book report in a brown bag. It is a day late so we had to finish it. What teacher has a kid turn in a book report the day after a 3 day weekend, you would have to know we are going to forget. Grrr. Luckily he had it almost done he just needed to add finishing touches. He is excited about how it turned out.
I had a nice time shopping with Thayne for Jess's birthday presents. We had a quick lunch at Panda Express which in not my favorite but the most convienent for where we were shopping. Lunch dates with Thayne have become one of my most favorite things I look forward to when he is home. Most of the time when he says do you want to get lunch, that mean El Rico's which is a Mexican Resteraunt down the street. I find that since we moved to Arizona I miss a few places that we would eat at in California, like Tommy's and Tico's Taco's. I will get a craving for them now and then. I think if we ever moved, I would miss El Rico's alot!
I think I am liking the blogging I do each night. It is making me realize how each day we are making memories and I need to pay attention to all the little things that I miss when I don't take a moment at the end of the day to think about them.
